I am 46 years old and a mum to two wonderful children aged 15 and 11. I live in Dunfermline with my family.

I work as a primary school teacher in Glenrothes where I have taught for 24 years. Over the years I have worked with all ages of children. It was my experience of working with nursery-age children that made me realise the importance of working in partnership with parents to influence the family setting to achieve better outcomes.

I've always had an interest in emotional wellbeing and have undertaken extensive training in this area. It was whilst I was attending an Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE's) conference I was introduced to Lesley Fraser the founder and director of Mindful Monkeys®.

I was inspired by the wonderful work that Lesley was doing with families and in 2021 I undertook my training to become a Mindful Monkeys® Better Together Practitioner

I am delighted to be able to combine my extensive teaching experience and years of training within health and well-being, together with the knowledge and skills gained from the Mindful Monkey Better Together practitioner training. I will use all of this expertise and the framework of the programme to help parents and children foster strong connections and relationships within their family.
